There is a new demographic evolving in the current rapid growth being seen in and around Uvita Costa Rica. When I moved my family of 2 school aged kids to Costa Rica in 1999, I knew of no other expat families. Now, there are numerous young families in the area. My but how things have changed.
Villa del Sol is a strong option for such families looking to make Costa Rica their home. The two boulevards that make up the development are neighborhoods, complete with sidewalks. Phase 1 is sold out but there are some lots available at this time in Phase 2.
The size of the property allows for a generous use of space in the house as well as in the grounds around it. Plenty of room for a pool, creative landscape design and gardening. The properties are remarkably private due to the boundaries being defined by thick hibiscus hedges as well as a cement wall on the back-side.
All the designs of the existing houses are custom and very tastefully done. There are a couple of homes that are completely solar and so they enjoy a reduced monthly outgo from this. The homes there that are in the rental market are reporting high occupancy as well.
The fact that you can walk to the beach is certainly a strong appeal of this property. Also, you are just minutes to the grocery store, hardware stores, pharmacy, doctors, banks etc... There are two private, multi-lingual schools in Uvita with a 3rd one in the works. The schools are busting at the seams and the word is the quality of education in them is high. The parents are happy.
"But if we're going to move to Costa Rica, we want some nature", you may say. Nature is abundant in Villas del Sol. Aside from the fact that you are centrally located in the heart of eco-tourism country here in Uvita, there are is a diverse array of birds in the trees as well as flying by during the day. Scarlet macaws are making their presence know in Uvita after years of being absent. Aerial photos of the Uvita area from 1970 compared to aerial photos now shows that there has been a tremendous restoration of the rain forest canopy that is continuing. More species than just the macaws are being sited in the area.
The quality of the infrastructure is impeccable. There are no power poles & lines thanks to the underground utilities. These properties are ready to build. It is just a very nicely done neighborhood development.
We'll be happy to show this and the other available options there as well.
Perfect for families looking to make Costa Rica their home.
